we enjoyed our stay, great customer service! a bit older but clean and comfortable. Not sure there is much better in key largo! I had commented to my wife after check in how awesome they people were there, then at night we had an issue with the night receptionist. They immediately made it better and said it was absolutely unacceptable behavior. We will definitely stay there again
Check in was great, location is good for actives and walking distance to food. However, im mad and I’m writing this review while I’m in the hotel. First of all, vacation is about relaxing. Have you ever relaxed to the sound of a chainsaw? Yeah, me neither. I tried laying out by the pool and reading a book and there are men with chainsaws everywhere chain sawing palm trees. While I was sitting on my balcony later that day, some debris fell and hit me. How therapeutic! We asked housekeeping to clean our room yesterday while we went and did some activities. We come back and nothing has been done. Bed not made, trash can over flowing. My husband went back to the desk and they replied that housekeeping was gone for the day. Well, why the he’ll couldn’t they have cleaned it when we were gone for four hours? A gentleman said he would take care of it. We went to a wedding down the street and stayed there over night. We arrive back to our hotel and the room still isn’t clean!!! My husband went down to the desk and wanted to know why and the girl who I assume and hope to god just started yesterday looked at him like he was nuts. This really sucks and it’s ruining s good trip. I work too hard for my money to be able to travel and it would’ve nice to have a clean room which is something that is party of the stay. If you’re reading this, cleanly my ******* room!!!!!!
I wish I could put a negative star because our 2 day stay here was horrible large groups congregating in the halls till 11pm both nights with doors slamming walls banging then the party ending in a room with loud music playing till 1am when checking out I mentioned how awful our stay was Vanessa offered a partial refund and points she couldn't print up our bill she would send to me later that day well 5 days later and not copy of a bill and checked my visa bill to find out not only was I charged full price for the 2 nights I was also charged an additional mysterious amount for something I have no idea is for. Customer service is horrible. I felt like the staff really didn't care and I felt my safety was in jeopardy if I had raised a fuss those evenings.marriott customer care has not been a huge help with this whole situation I have made numerous phone calls and I keep getting passed around . Please do not stay here .
Not good at all !!!!!!!! Booked room for 4 people for 3 days, because they advertised 1 big room with king bed, another room with bed and kitchen, and small den, finally get there after 4hrs of driving to key largo. they give us a one room with 2 king beds rite next to each other, no other bed room no kitchen, no den !!!! Because I prepaid for this room lady told us we couldn't change rooms, it was bad, not to mention the 2 kids we had with us we brought our 2 dogs because they said pet friendly, next morning we all get up to eat breakfast they charged us for it !!!!!!!
They are still updating some rooms but we had the most wonderful stay. Giovanni at the front desk was fantastic with pointing us in the right direction for food and other recommendations. The front desk manager took great care of us knowing it was our honeymoon. We can’t wait to come back in the future. The pool and sand area was great for relaxing, sitting on our patio was our favorite spot for coffee in the morning and a beverage in the afternoon and evening listening to the music from the restaurant across the marina.
