I waited for over a month to see Dr. Ellison and the day before my appointment the staff calls to cancel me and has nothing available for another week I had to pull major strings to get two days off of work to be able to see him after waiting for a month I just thought that was completely rude
POOR COMMUNICATIONS NO PATIENT CONCERNS TOLD ME IF I DID NOT LIKE IT TO GET OUT $790 First Visit $560 Maybe he need ANOTHER VACATION,,,,,,He Needs To Retire,,,,,
Very nice Doctor and office.
Car. accident in June. Trying to find an orthopedist in the Keys is next to impossible. Called Ellison's office. Told he no longer accepts auto accident cases and he no longer works on back injuries. Very helpful NOT!!!!!
Dr Ellison is great. The female pain doc he shares his office with is NOT. They wanted to bill me an insane amount for my first appt which was 5 minutes with her and she didn’t do or prescribe anything AND I have TWO insurances. Then, she told me to schedule an appt ASAP at the hospital. She failed to tell me she was taking a vacation or something so next available appt would be a month away. Thank god I refused to pay for that 5 minute waste of time. All this after I’d waited two weeks to see her to begin with. Found a new pain doc in homestead, Dr Alea, who saw me right away and gave me injections that same day, who also doesn’t try to make me pay for unnecessary appts.
