Great food. Fair service Good price. Desert was just okay. Fish is out of this world delicious
For the most part, the owners of this establishment do a great job and have always worked hard to provide a good product. They do not however, know anything about oysters and we have found their process to be a disgrace to oyster fans. First of all, you don't gut oysters when you open them. We all know what this looks like. If their staff does not know how to properly open an oyster, they should learn. Next, oysters have two sides of attachment in the shell. Removing the top shell does not complete the process of opening the oyster. They are still attached to the bottom and if the opener does not cut this attachment as well, they leave it for the customer and this is not right. Lastly, oysters should not be opened hours prior to being served and put into a cooler. This dries out the oyster and removes all of the essential flavors. Evidently the owners are not oyster fans. My suggestion is either learn the correct presentation or discontinue offering them. We have tried them about 4 times now and will not return...
Let me start by saying the ambience and feel of this location was amazing. I had the Grouper special of that day and I dare say it was one of the best dishes I've had. My SO had the burger cooked to perfection . Sides included were amazing. Live music playing the entire time made the experience 6/5 stars. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
Servers are awesome. You will enjoy the tomato basil soup and mahi tacos, delicious!
